KERRY HANSEN

Kerry Hansen is  represented by CoCo Freeman of the Linda Chester Literary Agency. She is an author-educator who served as an Area Representative for the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators-Wisconsin (SCBWI-WI) and won the 2020 SCBWI-WI mentorship for middle grade. After earning her Master’s in English at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, she directed a high school learning resource/writing center for six years. While raising her kids, she taught children ages 3-8 and discovered the magic of writing for kids and teens. She’s now TRiO Writing Specialist at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and serves on her community's library board. She lives in Wisconsin with her husband, two kids, and absurdly large dog.
